Less than a month ago, Blue Shield announced that they were unable to come to an agreement with Sutter Health. The termination which began January 1, 2015, affected all Independent Provider Associates, Medical Groups, Hospitals, and Specialty Providers associated with Sutter Health.

Effective February 1, 2015 the network relationship between Blue Shield and Sutter Health has been resolved.  This means that Sutter hospitals and doctors will continue to be participating providers in the Blue Shield network.
