The IRS announced the maximum contributions to health savings accounts for 2015. The figures will jump slightly, as they have historically, $50 for individuals and $100 for families.
The 2015 HSA limits will be $3,350 for individuals with self-only coverage (up from $3,300 in 2014), and $6,650 for individuals with family coverage (up from $6,550 in 2014). The maximum out-of-pocket expense will also increase next year to $6,450 for employee-only coverage and $12,900 for employee + family coverage.
The increases will take effect January 1, 2015.
